Admissions Requirements

ProgramsInfant and Toddler - This course offers a combination of course work, classroom observation, and an option of working with children in a supervised classroom environment during a year of student teaching. Classrooms may be designed for infant (birth through 18 months), toddlers (18 months to three years), or infant and toddler (comprehensive birth to three years.) Special focus is given to particular issues facing children who are in full day childcare environments.

(.pdf) CredentialsUpon completion of all course requirements, including satisfactory performance during practicum and written and practical examinations and payment of all fees, the student is a candidate for recommendation to the American Montessori Society for a full credential for those who hold a bachelor's degree and an associate credential for those with less than an bachelor's degree.
