Columbus Montessori maintains an open visitation policy for parents wishing to visit their child and for others wishing an informal look at the program.  Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled, at minimum, twice a year.  Additional conferences occur as needed.  A more formal classroom observation, however, must be scheduled in advance.  A formal observation by parents who are considering enrolling their child is a prerequisite to admission to the center.  Columbus Montessori also encourages parents of currently enrolled children to make periodic classroom observations in order to enhance their understanding of their child's development. An observer is asked not to interact with the children he or she is watching, unless parents are visiting their own child.  Each classroom maintains a special space designated for observers.  Morning observations begin at 9:00, afternoon observations begin at 1:15. To arrange a visit to our school please contact our admissions director, Debbie Sendek at 614-231-3790, extension 24
